A Platform for Indigenous Voices
At ǂawiyaǂ k̓ituq̓ǂiqaǂ (Huckleberry Books), we are privileged to live and work in ɁamakɁis Ktunaxa — the unceded homeland of the Ktunaxa peoples since time immemorial. We are committed to providing a platform for Indigenous voices and stories.
The Ktunaxa language, a linguistic isolate unlike any other in the world, is critically endangered. We support Ktunaxa Kinbasket Child & Family Service Society through an ongoing store credit fund that provides books at our cost to KKCFSS.

Huckleberry Books is an independent bookshop in downtown Cranbrook, BC. We keep a curated selection — whether you're after an armchair getaway, tips to take your sourdough to the next level, or an indulgent comfort read, we've got you covered.
We carry titles from great indie Canadian publishers, run an annual summer reading challenge, and collaborate with six indie bookstores across our region. Come on in for a cozy bookshop adventure — in store or online.
